Our focus today was on our Structures. Two main subjects were highlighted for our reflections: International Commissions & Length of mandate for the General Council Team. Bearing in mind that any revision of structures must be: in the service of mission; facilitate internationality, solidarity and collaboration, and enable a wider participation of Sisters in the Institute (Gen. Chapter, 2008)
From our reflections and group discussions the following thrusts emerged:
The commissions were highly commended for the tremendous results achieved through activities carried out. E.g. one month inter-cultural preparation for Sisters going on Mission Ad Extra, international preparation for Final Vows, workshop for bursars, charter for formation, formation on accompaniment, among others.
Reflection continues and we are praying to the Holy Spirit for His direction. We count on your prayers.
